THE GENERAL DATA

The prevention

The gear belt is necessary for removing and establishing, when the engine cold. Spring scales or 9-kilogramovyj грузик are necessary for a correct tension of a belt.


Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish the cylinder piston № 1 in position ВМТ at the moment of a compression step.
2. Remove a pulley of a cranked shaft.
3. Remove the bottom casing of a gear belt of a drive of a camshaft.
4. Block asterisks of a camshaft and injecting pump, having inserted bolts М8 (1) into adjusting apertures in an asterisk, having twirled them in carving apertures in a back guard. Check up, that the aperture and a pin of a nave of a pulley of a cranked shaft have been correctly combined with the index (2) top dead points on a back guard.
5. Turn off fixing screws and remove directing plates of a gear belt from asterisks of a camshaft (1) and the injecting pump (2).
6. Turn off a fixing bolt of a pulley of a tension of a gear belt and take away a pulley натяжителя from a belt.
7. Remove a gear belt from asterisks and remove it from the engine.
If you are going to use a belt repeatedly, by means of a white paint mark a direction of a course of a belt. Do not rotate a cranked shaft while the gear belt will not be established.
8. Carefully examine a gear belt on presence of traces of non-uniform deterioration, cracks or pollution by oil, and replace it if it is necessary.
9. If you spend the engine partition which run exceeds 65 thousand kilometres or it was in operation of more than 4 years without replacement of a gear belt, replace a gear belt irrespective of its condition.
10. If the belt is polluted by oil, find a source of pollution and eliminate it, then wash out area round a gear belt and all elements connected with a gear belt.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. At installation carefully clear asterisks of a gear belt and a pulley натяжителя, and also intermediate pulleys.
2. Check up, that asterisks of a camshaft and the injecting pump have been blocked and check up, that the aperture and a pin of a nave of a pulley of a cranked shaft have been correctly combined with the index of the top dead point.
3. Establish a gear belt on asterisks of a cranked shaft and a camshaft, then establish a belt on an intermediate pulley and an asterisk of the injecting pump.
4. Check up, that a belt site between asterisks of a cranked shaft, a camshaft and the injecting pump has been tense (i.e. that the belt sagged on that party where the pulley натяжителя is located), then establish a belt on a pulley натяжителя. Do not overwind a belt at installation.
5. Check up, that a belt teeth has been established on the middle of a lateral surface of asterisks, and adjusting marks have been correctly located.
6. At installation of an old gear belt check up, that an arrow made on a belt at removal, specified in a direction of a course of a belt.
7. Release the lever натяжителя and press a pulley натяжителя to a gear belt so that it has been tense. Slightly twirl a fixing bolt of a pulley.
8. Check up, that the mark in a nave of a pulley of a cranked shaft has been combined with index ВМТ, then remove lock bolts from asterisks of a camshaft and the injecting pump.
9. Hook on spring scales or грузик for an aperture on the end of the lever of a pulley натяжителя. Having given loading in 9 kg on the lever натяжителя, turn off a fixing bolt of a pulley натяжителя, then reliably twirl it.
10. Having established a key with накидной a head on a bolt of a pulley of a cranked shaft, turn a cranked shaft on 45 counter-clockwise that the belt sagged on the pulley party натяжителя. Having given loading in 9 kg on the lever натяжителя, turn off a fixing bolt of a pulley натяжителя again, then twirl it till the demanded moment of an inhaling.
11. Remove spring scales or грузик from the lever натяжителя, then turn a cranked shaft so that the cylinder piston № 1 has been again established in position ВМТ.
12. Check up, that a pin / the aperture on a pulley nave has been combined with index ВМТ and that bolts of asterisks of a camshaft and the injecting pump have been twirled.
13. If adjustment is necessary, release натяжитель, then remove a belt from asterisks and execute necessary adjustments before a repeated stretch of a belt.
14. After the gear belt of a drive of a camshaft will be correctly tense, fix the lever натяжителя.
15. Establish directing plates on asterisks of a camshaft and injecting pump, reliably having twirled their fixing bolts.
16. Check up, that lock bolts of asterisks have been removed, then establish covers of a gear belt of a drive of a camshaft and a pulley of a cranked shaft.
