THE GENERAL DATA

THE GAUGE OF SPEED OF THE STREAM (ALL ENGINES, EXCEPT 6-CYLINDER)

The gauge is mounted on the case of the air filter. It is intended for measurement of the volume expense of air submitted to cylinders.

RESERVE CONTROL SYSTEM (ALL ENGINES, EXCEPT 6-CYLINDER)

It is intended for preservation of some functions of the block of management in case of its malfunction and car maintenance on the move.

THE GAUGE OF TEMPERATURE OF THE COOLING LIQUID (ALL ENGINES, EXCEPT 6-CYLINDER)

The gauge will screw in the block of cylinders under a soaking up collector. The signal from the gauge is used for calculation of demanded structure of a mix.

THE GAUGE OF TEMPERATURE OF THE COOLING LIQUID (6-CYLINDER ENGINES)

The gauge represents the thermoresistor. At low temperatures of a cooling liquid (-40 ) resistance of the gauge makes 100 Clod, and at temperature 130 With – 70 Ohm.

The ESM-MODULE gives on the gauge a signal 5В and measures pressure from the gauge. On a difference of pressure the temperature of a cooling liquid is defined. The received information is used for management of the air valve, system рециркуляции, etc. If the gauge is faulty in memory of the ESM-MODULE the code 14 or 15 registers.

THE GAUGE OF THE ANGLE OF ROTATION OF THE CRANKED SHAFT (ALL ENGINES, EXCEPT 6-CYLINDER)

The gauge as a rule is mounted in the distributor of ignition and intended for registration of speed of rotation of the engine and relative position of each piston in the cylinder. On the basis of these parametres block ECU counts a corner of an advancing of ignition.

GAUGES OF THE ANGLE OF ROTATION OF THE CRANKED SHAFT AND CAMSHAFT (6-CYLINDER ENGINES)

These gauges are mounted on the block of cylinders near to cranked shaft and a camshaft. The signal from these gauges arrives through the module of "system of direct ignition" (DIS-systems) on the ESM-MODULE. This signal is used as реперный for definition of speed of rotation of the engine and position of a cranked shaft. In engines with such system the gauge on effect of the Hall is applied. On a gauge conclusion pressure is directed at passage of a disk with a crack. The size of this pressure is unequivocally connected with number of turns of the engine. This communication is used for definition of turns in the ignition module. The ignition module interrupts or closes a primary chain of the coil of ignition. On the basis of a signal received from the gauge of the Hall the module of ignition interrupts or closes a primary chain of the coil of ignition.

PROCESSOR BLOCK ECU (ALL ENGINES, EXCEPT 6-CYLINDER)

The block is mounted under the panel of devices. Provides management of ignition and injection systems. Diagnostics system, the reserve scheme of management and the monitoring system of refusals are built in the block.

THE BLOCK OF ELECTRONIC CONTROL BY THE MOMENT IGNITIONS (BLOCK EST) OF 6-CYLINDER ENGINES

This block is established on 6-cylinder engines of all updatings. Instead of centrifugal and vacuum regulators the 7-contact distributor on which the additional 4-contact socket is established is used. On module ECM moves реперный an impulse of speed of rotation of the engine and an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft. ECM defines a corner of an advancing of ignition for the given working conditions of the engine and submits an impulse of installation of the moment of ignition on the distributor. The moment of installation of ignition varies on the basis of the signals which are read out from various gauges. The reserve scheme of installation of the moment of ignition is built in module ECM on a case of refusal of the module.

CONTROL SYSTEM ИСКРООБРАЗОВАНИЕМ (ESC-СИСТЕМА) 6-CYLINDER ENGINES

It is intended for reduction of a corner of an advancing of ignition in the conditions of a detonation. Works together with the detonation gauge.

THE GAUGE OF ABSOLUTE PRESSURE IN THE SOAKING UP COLLECTOR (MAR-GAUGE) ON 6-CYLINDER ENGINES

The MAR-GAUGE measures pressure in a soaking up collector which varies depending on loading and engine turns. Measured pressure is equal to a difference of atmospheric pressure and pressure in a collector. When заслонка almost it is completely covered, pressure in a collector low (25–35 кПа), at completely opened заслонке measured pressure raises (to 100 кПа). Resistance of the gauge and consequently and removed stress, depends on pressure. Tracing pressure on the gauge, module ESM operates quantity of injected fuel and the ignition moment.

At gauge refusal in memory the code 33 or 34 registers.

THE GAUGE OF TEMPERATURE OF AIR IN THE SOAKING UP COLLECTOR (FLOOR-MAT-GAUGE) OF 6-CYLINDER ENGINES

The FLOOR-MAT-GAUGE is mounted on a soaking up collector and represents the thermoresistor. At low temperature of air (-40 ) resistance of the gauge makes 100 Clod, and at temperature 130 With – 70 Ohm.

The ESM-MODULE gives on the gauge a signal 5В and measures pressure from the gauge. On a difference of pressure air temperature in a soaking up collector is defined. The received information is used for management of quantity of injected fuel and the ignition moment. If the gauge is faulty, in memory the code 23 or 25 registers.

THE RELAY PRESSURE OF OIL OF 6-CYLINDER ENGINES

The relay (the contact gauge of pressure) is mounted on the block of cylinders under a soaking up collector. On some cars of the relay of pressure of oil joins in parallel from the relay of the fuel pump and includes (disconnects) the pump when pressure of oil raises (goes down) to 28 кПа.

THE GAUGE OF OXYGEN OF ALL 4-CYLINDER ENGINES

It is screwed in a final collector. It is intended for measurement of the maintenance of oxygen in exhaust gases.

THE GAUGE OF OXYGEN OF 6-CYLINDER ENGINES

The gauge is mounted in an exhaust pipe. The oxygen containing in exhaust gases, reacts with a gauge surface. If a mix impoverished the signal from the gauge makes 100 мВ, at the enriched mix – to 900 мВ. In reply to a signal from the gauge of oxygen the management block automatically supports gas mixture structure close to стехиометрическому. At rupture in the oxygen gauge the code 13 registers. If pressure in a gauge chain low also does not vary, the code 44 registers. At the invariable raised pressure the code 45 registers. Codes 44 and 45 register in memory at refusals of fuel system.

SWITCH PARK/NEUTRAL ON 6-CYLINDER ENGINES

The switch specifies to the management block that transmission is in positions P or N. Operating signals on муфту the hydrotransformer, system рециркуляции Thus move, and also idling turns are regulated.


The prevention

Driving is forbidden at disconnected switch Park/Neutral, adjustment of quality of a mix idling otherwise is broken, and in memory the code 24 which specifies in malfunction of the gauge of speed of the car (VSS - the gauge) will be written down.


THE RELAY OF PRESSURE OF THE HYDRAULIC BOOSTER (6-CYLINDER ENGINES)

It is intended for signal giving on the management block at pressure increase in a contour of a hydrodrive of a wheel (inclusion of the pump of the hydraulic booster, wheel turn) in reply to which idling turns raise.

THE GAUGE OF THE ANGLE OF ROTATION THROTTLE ЗАСЛОНКИ (TPS-ДАТЧИК)

This gauge is provided only on 4-cylinder engines with a turbo-supercharging and on 6-cylinder engines.

THE GAUGE OF THE ANGLE OF ROTATION THROTTLE ЗАСЛОНКИ (TPS-ДАТЧИК) (6-CYLINDER ENGINES)

The gauge is mounted on an axis throttle заслонки, pressure from the gauge changes under the influence of a drive заслонки. When заслонка it is completely closed, pressure from the gauge low (nearby 0,5), and at completely opened заслонке pressure is close to maximum (nearby 5). At completely closed заслонке pressure on the gauge should not exceed 1,25 V.Na the basis of pressure from the gauge throttle заслонки the management block counts quantity of fuel injected into the engine which corresponds to pressing an accelerator pedal. Infringement of correct position, short circuit, easing of fastening or breakage concern characteristic malfunctions of the gauge. At infringement of position of the gauge the engine unstably idles, traction qualities worsen. Gauge breakage is regarded by the management block as full cover заслонки, as a result the engine works with faults on all modes, and in memory the code 22 registers. At short circuit (this condition corresponds completely opened заслонке) in memory the code 21 registers. At easing of fastening of the gauge the order of injection of fuel is broken, the engine works with faults idling. On some updatings of engines the specified malfunctions are eliminated by gauge adjustment.

THE SWITCH THROTTLE ЗАСЛОНКИ (4-CYLINDER ENGINES)

The switch throttle заслонки is intended for definition of a mode of idling, partial and full opening заслонки.

THE VACUUM DISTRIBUTOR (4-CYLINDER ENGINES)

The vacuum distributor copes a signal arriving from the processor block, and supervises pressure of fuel according to depression in a soaking up collector.

THE GAUGE OF SPEED OF THE CAR (VSS-ДАТЧИК)

On cars with 4-cylinder engines the VSS-gauge is built in a speedometer. From this gauge impulses on the management block move.

On cars with 6-cylinder engines the VSS-gauge is mounted either on a speedometer, or in картере transmissions on a speedometer reducer.

On parts of the cars equipped with digital devices, a signal of speed it is formed by a constant magnet which is mounted on a transmission shaft. The signal from the magnetic gauge operates the step-by-step engine which in turn rotates a drum of the counter of the passed way. At gauge refusal in memory the code 24 registers.
